As Client Relations Manager, James Richards assists Jay with coordinating client meetings, preparing financial reports, and arranging informational seminars and client appreciation events throughout the year.
James grew up in Amarillo, TX. He graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2012 with a degree in finance. Moving to Houston soon after graduation, James then worked for Invesco, an independent investment management company, where he assisted clients and financial advisors with account information, technical support, and mutual fund information.
James’s long term goal is to be a financial advisor. He has completed the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Graduate Certificate program at Rice University and passed the CFP® exam in 2016. He also plans to take the FINRA securities license exams to become a Registered Representative.
James is married to Tiffany Richards who is also from Amarillo and works as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Herman Southwest. They make their home in Sugar Land, Texas. In his free time, James loves to read and perform educational science experiments. Having worked at a science museum in college, James is confident and comfortable safely demonstrating the properties of dry ice, liquid nitrogen, and fire.
