Jay’s deep experience comes not only from his extensive education—he holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh—but also from decades of walking clients through significant market events. From the 1987 crash to the 2008 Great Recession, the 2020 pandemic, and beyond, Jay has consistently provided calm, seasoned advice during turbulent times.
Jay’s approach is rooted in understanding clients’ unique goals and helping them transition smoothly into retirement, particularly for business owners adjusting to life after selling or stepping away from their businesses. Originally from India, Jay moved to the United States in 1980 with a belief in perseverance and the opportunities this country offers. Outside of work, Jay enjoys spending time with Kanchan, his wife of over 35 years, traveling, and playing golf. A former national table tennis champion for India, Jay brings the same dedication and focus to his clients as he once brought to the sport. He is proud to call Sugar Land, Texas, home.
